WebGui Workflow screen flicker or keep refreshing

Former Member

When logged into SAP WEBGUI for HTML and trying to view workflow log for a document, the screen keeps refreshing.

Reproducing the issue:

login to web gui> go to TCODE: FB03 > provide the doc no and company code and then press enter.

Now you will get a icon with name "services for object" here select workflow > workflow overview. (top right corner)

Then you will get a work flow window which is keepon getting refreshed.

But the same process if I perform on SAP GUI (instead of web gui) there is no issue. Please suggest if there are any parameters or resolution to stop this auto refresh.

Generally the resolution of such problems comes by restarting the concerned services in SICF tcode.

Browse your service in SICF and just "Deactivate service" and the "Activate service"

Hi

Thank you very much for your reply on this but, it still doesn't work. I have deactivated and activated webgui service through SICF.

Any more thoughts on this please?

Hi,

In the backend ECC system go to t.code SE80.

In the Dropdown select Internet Service

Open Service WEBGUI and SYSTEM, Right-click on the root and Publish - Complete Service.

And try the same.

Hope this helps.

Cheers-

Hi Pramod,

Thank you, I have published the WEBGUI service from SE80, still no luck.

Have you published both WEBGUI and SYSTEM services?

Pramod,

Yes I do, I have published both WEBGUI and System Services with no luck, the screen keeps refreshing/flickering.

Fyi, I have tried the same in different browsers.

"Workflow for current context" screen keeps refreshing/flickering.

More thoughts please.

Hi

Thank you very much for your reply. Finally we have raised a mssg with SAP and here is the solution.

Our development support fixed the issue. The solution is available in

SAP note 1664846, which should be released today or tomorrow morning

(CET time). You can implement the note via SNOTE, publish WEBGUI, SYSTEMand IAC via SE80 (complete service), invalidate mimes and templates

(system wide) via SITSPMON, delete the web browser cache and the performa new test.
