We want to use WebConsole instead of SAPConsole.

We are on R/3 release 4.6C.

It will be highly appreciated if any member can explain the detailed action needs to be taken.

Hi Jayadevan,

Wen SAP Console has been released during the 2nd half of 2004 and based on SAP4.7 with WAS. You can only able to install SAP console which is part of SAP 4.6C.

If you are installing on SAP 4.7.

1. Install JDK 1.4 (check web server avilability)

2. Install J2EE engine.

3. Install Web SAP console. Create profiles

4. start the dispatcher etc...in J2EE

5. start the service from Browser

even you can start the service on server by running the console as well..

We would like to work with 30 concurrent users and dont know how to size the machine.

Hello,

since this forum is dealing with SAP Mobile Infrastructure it is unlikely that anybody has an answer to your question. Part of SAP MI is the MI web console, which has nothing to with SAP Console or SAP WEBConsole.

I am not totally sure but trying a quick forum's search with "WebSAPConsole" as the search string, all the posts which have not been misleaded to MI forum were written in the forum "Web Application Server » Web AS General"
