In the document The Basic Facts About Web Dynpro (by Dr. Peter Tillert, July 28,2003) I read about the "large set of standard controls" that come with Web Dynpro. In the NetWeaver Developer Studio for WAS 6.30 I can find the following controls:
BusinessGraphics, Button, Caption, Checkbox, CheckboxGroup, DropDownByIndex, DropDownByKey, Group, IFrame, Image, InputField, InvisibleElement, Label, LinkToAction, LinkToURL, RadioButton, RadioButtonGroupByIndex, RadioButtonGroupByKey, ScrollContainer, TabStrip, Table, TextEdit, TextView, ToolBarButton, ToolBarDropDownByIndex, ToolBarDropDownByKey, ToolBarInputField, TransparentContainer, Tray, Tree, ViewContainerUIElement,
but NOT the following ones mentioned in the above article:
Breadcrumb, Calendar, File tranfer, HTML frame.
Any idea how to get to these controls? The Calendar control would be critical.
Thanks,
Gabor
The HTML frame has been postponed. The other three will be supplied in forthcoming SPs. They will be available by the time the Web AS 6.40 rampup starts early next year.
As you especially mention the Calendar control: Please do not expect an Outlook-look-alike! This control is basically similar to the date picker that you get as user help in any input field if you bind it to a context element of type "date".
Best regards
Peter Tillert
