SM59 rfc dest to int server (Type 3) // Sending System
WE21 tRFC port // Sending System
BD54 receiver sys as logical system // Sending System
SM59 RFC Dest to Sending sys from IS.(Type 3) //Int. Server
IDX1 Port Maintenance //Int. Server
IDX2 Load Metadata of IDoc //Int. Server
WE20 partner profile (o/b parameters) // Sending System

I am getting problem in we19.........
I created an basictype idoc in we30.
I am trying to send that idoc from we19, but I am gettng an error 'port doesnot exist in the table of port description' when i click 'standard outboundprocessing' button

Please help me.

Status 37 EDI: Sender port in control record is invalid
Status 42 IDOC was ceated by test transaction
This Idoc has been generated through a test transaction.

Hi Simon,
The Sender Port is invalid. If you can't find a valid Sender Port, then create one.
Do these two steps in the Sending R/3 system:
1. SM59 - Create RFC destination (Type=3) pointing to the sender system itself. Verify 'Test RFC connection' and 'Test authorization (F7)'.
2. WE21 - Create a tRFC Port, and select the above RFC destination.
Use this Port in the Control record of IDOC while testing from WE19.
Hope this helps!

Hi Simon,
In WE02 or WE05: Check if there are any existing MATMAS IDOCs that are sent out earlier.
Search with: No Date range, Direction=2, BasicType=MATMAS. This should find any existing IDOCs.
If any, Note one of the IDOC numbers.
Goto WE19, give the IDOC number and Create(F8).
Since the data for testing is already present, we only need to modify the Control record.
Click on Conrol segment (EDIDC) and modify the Ports; and then Start outbound processing (F7).
This should send the IDOC to the port given. This way the IDOC has a valid data, instead of filling something of your own.
Hope it helps!

Hi
>>error 'port doesnot exist in the table of port description' when i click 'standard outboundprocessing' button
This is becoz ur testing outbound processing without giving values in Control Record of Idoc.
So do the following......
Go in we19 and give ur Idoc name.
Inside that u willl something like this
Control Record Name
|
|__Data Record Name
Click on ur Control Record Name and fill all the entries og Reciptent and Sender.
Then Click on Data Record Name and fill the data tht is to b sent by the IDOC and press enter.
Ur IDOC will successfully post.

Hi Smith,
In WE19, Are you using an existing IDOC to resend or are you sending a new IDOC?
In case of new IDOC, fill in the data in the required segments; and most importantly fill in the data for control record (EDIDC).
Give the Recepient port - the one that is created in step 2 (we21).
Moreover, you missed a step in your list.
Making an entry in SLD for the Sender R/3 system. Create a TS and BS for the required client.
