hi i have done a file to file scenario but the respected file is not being picked

from the source directory i feel that the problem is with the adapter engine

more over wen i m chking in the RWB i m getting every thing in green except for

the integration engine and proxy

i feel proxy has no relation with this scenario

and for the integraton engine

it shows orange (and asks in the down is web security service available?)

What is the error in your sender file adapter?

You need to give more details to get some inputs / help.

Jaya,

problem is with your shared file folder

check whether you have access to sharedfolder or not . ihope your C:/ is accesable from your XI box and you have all rights.

when u want to read a file from c drive then try to make use of NFS...or simply place the file in a ftp location and use ftp protocl in ur sender instead of nfs

Hi,

1. With NFS , XI server can acccess only folders available on its OWN local path. It cannot access the Path of your machine C:\... . The XI server is looking for the path C:\.. on its own directories and it is not finding the same.

As pointed one option is to mount your Drive on the XI server to some folder. Not something I would recommend thought.

2. The better thing to do would be,

a) place the file on the XI 's some folder ( you would need a local directory access to the server) or some program to upload the file to the server.

b ) Use FTP. Look into this blog by Shabrish for how to set up a FTP ion your Local Desktop and make XI access the same,

jaya,

as pointed it need to NFS or file server . C:\ Xi server is lookinginto it own drive and not your local system. so make a floder in XI server and place the file inth t folder and give the sam location in File adapter otherwise create a FTP access from XI.

Hi,

I already mensioned please check , it do you have the authorisations to access the mensioned path...??? it means that is the path of server c:\out .. not local path

so.. you should have one shared folder ,

get the permision from basis team and open that port from your desktop, and access the shared folder it may be f:\... somthing .. give that path and access..

Sure it will work..

Points rewarded..

Chilla.

>me how to place the folder in ftp protocol wat is nfs

For FTP look into the blog I have pointed in my previous reply.

NFS is Network File System and it is the option used to pick up the files from XI server's local directory in your XI server.
