hello lakshmi...

u have mentioned tht a few institues offer Xi, but if ur planning to give cert then u have to do ur course from SiemensATC , SAP or genovat...

i believ Genovat does not have branch in Hyd....

also, u can go ahead without any knowledge of XML...

regards...

Hi Lakshmi,

I think the XML is the basic necessary in order to get through XI, upto my knowledge, i think it's not a big task , my advice is u better start ur XI career with XML, u can learn everything in www.w3schools.com, really it's giving lot of information on XML related stuffs , carry on all the best for ur XI Career,

Cheers,

Justin

hi raj...

basic necessary.???

ofcous, its not a big task but i strongly disagree with xml as a language as the basic necessity..

with sp14 and xi3 all the xml test payloads r created in the background...

so maybe later on wher actually playing with the codes java is essential, but xml..??? i doubt.....

Hi Vishal,

I'm not saying that it's a basic necessary, in order to start ur career surely i agree with ur point that we can simply using Java stuffs and the rest , but for an intial step if u want to do some XSLT Mapping its necessary we must know the structure of the payload and understand it to process through XPATH etc.. if anything wrong let me know..

Raj
