Hi,

Is it possible to access the portal user details from a VC application, in short access to the IUser Object?

Also can data be sent and received between webdynpro and VC application?

Hi,

Actually, you have a "User Data" connector (look at the "Compose" task pane).

This element can be used to retrieve all sorts of user specific data - anything provided by the portal runtime.

This data can then be used in dynamic expressions.

I created webservice to fetch the data I needed and usered the User object in VC to pass input for the webservice.
