Hello All,

I am about to start learning Webdynpro ....for that I would like to know what must be the system configuration which version of SAP will support to develop applications in WEBDYNPRO using ABAP ...

And also material if any for a beginner ....

Check this you can also find a lot more similar threads if you search the forum.

Go through the package SWDP_DEMO, SWDP_TEST etc that have a lot of examples enough for a beginner. The components WDR_TEST_UI_ELEMENTS and WDR_TEST_EVENTS are great sources for getting an intro to the various view elements.

And you always have the forum!

Could you please tell me the SAP VERSION which will support Webdynpro application development. Because I had 4.7E with my Laptop. Ithink itwill not support dynpro s .

WebDynpro avaibale with SAP Netweaver 2004s (SAP Netweaver application server 7.0.).

It is available from SAP Netweaver 2004s

Web Dynpro for ABAP provides the same declarative UI development paradigm as Web Dynpro for Java directly out of the NetWeaver ABAP Application Server. Web Dynpro for ABAP allows the development of user interfaces directly within the ABAP Workbench (SE80) and the Web Dynpro runtime environment is a central part of the ABAP server and can be used in any SAP solution based on NetWeaver 2004s without the need of an additional server installation

I would suggest few things here.

1.Learn basic concept of ABAP-OO (Its on SDN)

2 If you dont know ABAP then learn it

3.Go through all tutorial that i ahev given here as link.
