IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL SQLA USERS

If you wish to retain your current SQLA user profile after the move to Sybase.com, you must ensure that your current SQLA user profile contains a valid email address. After this site has moved, in order for you to keep your same user name (and its associated badges, tags, points, etc) you will need to reauthenticate your account and this will be done through a process that involves an email being sent to your email address that exists in your SQLA profile.

To check and update your email address within your user profile, do the following steps:

  • Click on your name at the top of the page to view your profile
  • Click the edit link beside the Registered User header. Your current profile personal data will be displayed and made editable.
  • Update your email address if it is blank or incorrect
  • Click the Save Profile button

The BETA of the new SQLA forum site is coming soon. An announcement of the BETA will be made on this SQLA site when the new site is ready for you to try.

If you have not already done so, please make sure that you have entered a valid email address into your SQLA user profile. Don't delay - do this today! Next week might be to late.

The BETA announcement will give you more details on how to gain access to your SQLA account in the new forum site.

Dear Mark.

Is there any news on this topic ? I'm sitting here packed with everything and start slowly to get uncomfortable. Only 5 Month to go to give this announcement it's first anniversary.

Hmm, way before the first anniversary, April 13 is another relevant date - cf. http://sqlanywhere-forum.sap.com/questions/841.

I have my fingers crossed that very soon all of the issues that have stopped us from moving forward will have been addressed and we will be able to announce the beta of the new site and then shortly after that we will do the switch-over.
