variable selection...urgent

Hi All,

There is a query bulit on the ODS.in the query output there is a selction for the fiscal period(variable).In the Selection the variable is displaying the values which are not in the ODS.I have checked in the master data table only few values are present in the table.

Could anyone let me know from where the data is comprised from?

Goto RSA1 and double click on the Fiscal period Infoobject.

Goto the Business Explorer Tab and mak ethe folloiwng setting

Query Def. Filter Value Selection : Only Values in Masterdata.

Now execute the Report and check whether it is displaying only the records that are available in masterdata???

The option which u have mentioned is already been selected.Is there any other possible way.

If this value is selected then it will only show the values that are available in the Master data.

So is it that the Master data Table is containing extra values that are not available in the ODS??? Then you need to make the changes by selecting Only Values from infoprovider.

Thanks for the update.I will make the changes.

In the master data table t009b, i could see only few value, but in the query selection(F4 help) there are more number of records.Could u let me know in which table we can see all the values which are there in F4 help..
