Variable Offset

Hi Experts,

I am specifying a variable offset -2, for the Variable 0I_FPER , Now I want display the previous periods data

also in query , How can i do that

Eg: Var (0I_FPER) X = 003.2008

X-1 = 002.2008 X-2 = 001.2008

now I want to display like below

X-2 X-1 X

001.2008 002.2008 003.2008

Can any body help me....

Hi Nagamani,

Create three different resricted key figures.

Restrict 1st figure with your key figure + variable of 0I_FPER

Restrict 2nd figure for Key figure + variable of 0I_FPER - 1.

Restrict 3rd figure for Key figure + variable of 0I_FPER - 2.

I have tried the below option also.....

and getting the required one....

Restricted the 0FISCPER variable to a same period 3 times ..like

1. 0P_FPER

2. 0P_FPER-1

3. 0P_FPER-2

Here to use variable offsets you need to have period and year objects seperately. Otherwise the offset doesnt work properly. Try to have period and year objects seperately, else you can use a customer exit to get the desired results.....
