Hi,

Which user-exit should I use when I want to validate for duplicate reference field value and fire a warning message when the reference entered by the user is already posted?

Thanks.

Vale

Hello Kiran,

Following your advice, I put a function module in EXIT_SAPLF050_003 which is also under the exit name F050S002. Though the function module is activated, the program doesn't go into that module so reference field validation didn't happen. I didn't use the other exits since I need the field bkpf-xblnr. So EXIT_SAPLF050_003 is the only one that can pass that field value at a mandatory level.

Can I also use the OBBH (accounting substitution) to fire the warning message when a document is posted more than once?

Regards,

Vale
