Hi Ananda,

Please check the default trace log file from NWA or Direcly though URL if you have access to NetWeaver administration.

Login to http://<HOST>:<PORT>/irj/portal and then replce /irj/portal with irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.runtime.admin.logviewer.default

Search for the Exception ID: 04:17_20/05/10_0056_319362650

Hi All

Used the diagtool to find root cause error. It is

com.sapportals.portal.prt.runtime.PortalRuntimeException: iView not found: :.default

I am fetching the iView from content producer in federated portal scenario and found that iView exists there. All JCo' related to that iView are working perfect.

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks

ASR

Hi Ananda,

This error usually happens when the corresponding portal component is not deployed on the server. Please check it.

Also, Check this link:

Hi ASR,

If your R3 and Portal system are on different servers then In the UWL configuration, for the webflow connector, do mention the alias of your Portal system object created, in the "Webdynpro Launch System" field.

Thanks,

Hi All

Problem now solved.

So I am documenting the steps used to solve it.

1. Change these parameters for the content producer's backend system object

Web Application Server information

Web AS Host Name: companyname.com

Web AS Path: /webdynpro/dispatcher/

Web AS Protocol: https

2. Change UWL System Parameters for u201CSAP_ECC_HumanResources"

Web Dynpro Launch Sytem = SAP_WebDynpro_XSS

User Roles = Z_UWL_HR

3. Re-register u201CSAP_ECC_HumanResourcesu201D UWL system

4. Clear cache of select u201CSAP_ECC_HumanResourcesu201D UWL system.

Hope this solves many users tricky UWL issues.

Thanks
