Using Web API Commands in Buttons in BEx Analyzer Design

Hi all,

Anyone out there with experience from using Web API commands in Buttons in Excel workbooks?

I am trying to create a button for changing the appearance of data cells (e.g.. number of decimals) but have difficulties writing the right command parameters. I have tried many different "versions" like the one below but nothing works.

DATA_PROVIDER 0 DATA_PROVIDER_1
CMD 0 SET_DATA_CELL_PROPERITES
TARGET_DATA_PROVIDER_REF 0 DATA_PROVIDER_1
DATA_CELL 0 JAN07
DECIMAL_PLACES 0 2

The Planning specific commands (Save, Refresh and specific planning functions/sequences) works fine!

We're on NW2004s SP11, FEP12.

Best Regards

Jesper

Hi,

I have checked the online help and have only found the link below as relevant for my problem. This say that "Any data provider-specific command in the Web API Reference (except functions to export to Microsoft Excel) is accepted" but not how to handle the commands in Excel.
