using SAP GDTs in Proxy calls

Hello,

We are using Global Data Types in PI and multiple Service Interfaces have been created using GDTs.But we have issues while generating Proxies in ECC either for Client or Server proxy.Getting error messages that Objectsin other namespace(ie,GDTs) are not active.When we try/look for Software Componet Versions that are for GDTs not showing up in SPROXY object list.My understanding is that Proxies cannot be generated until GDT objects been generated in SPROXY.

Are there any settings we need to do in ECC to activate GDTs in Tcode SPROXY ?or do we need to import GDTs into ECC and activate them?

please let me know any ideas in this regard.

Hi Sathish,

I believe the ABAP proxy objects from SAP for these GDTs must also be imported or deployed in your ECC system.

Please ask your Basis Team to apply these objects in your SAP system. They may need to get it from SAP marketplace if they don't have the copy.
