hi Guillaume,

thanks for ur quick response,

can we drill down into table data if we use tableview iterator..i.e.if we want to select one particular row from the table displayed.

Hi,

No, you can't.

Nevertheless, you can use <htmlb:tableview> that offers some capabilities such as sorting, filtering...

Look at weblogs on tableview and iterators in SDN.

Hi,

I guess the function module 'LVC...' is unable to retrieve the fields that you used.

What exactly are you trying to do ?

You want your BSP to display any table or a particular one ?

The <htmlb:tableview> is able to render without much additional information than the table itself.

<%@page language="abap"%>
<%@extension name="htmlb" prefix="htmlb"%>

<htmlb:content design="design2003">
  <htmlb:page title = "Main ">
    <htmlb:form>

   <% DATA: ta_data  TYPE TABLE OF usr01 .

      select * from usr01
               into corresponding fields of table ta_data. %>

      <htmlb:tableView id    = "tvx"
                       table = "<%= ta_data%>" />

    </htmlb:form>
  </htmlb:page>
</htmlb:content>

Best regards,

Guillaume
