I discovered that Windows Performance Monitor offers counters like "User Defined Rate: Counter1" for an SQL Anywhere 17 Database, and found sa_user_defined_counter_add
.
So I hoped to use the procedure to be able to track some db application events in the Windows Performance Monitor (Server 2019 Datacenter) using UserDefinedCounterRate01 and/or UserDefinedCounterRaw01.
But, alas, though I can see the incremented counters with sa_db_properties
() the counter in the Performance Monitor remained flat on 0.
Am I missing something?
