Hi,
I have requirement to test whether BO access can be automated. Requirement is instead of Bo admin manually adding Bo user groups to the user id, users groups should be added automatically once the user logged into Launchpad.
Has anyone tried this or using this approach? Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance
In order to give you a possible correct answer, additional information is required:
What you mean by "when the user is logged into Launchpad" is what you mean by logging in for the first time
What kind of authentication do you use (BI, AD, LDAP, SAP, ....)?
will there be a list of users and groups?
If users are added to groups, will they be changed later? If so, should the change happen automatically (depending on the updated list)?
...

--- Yes, when user login for the first time, automatically groups should be added to the user.
Eg: User A is authorized to access group A and B
Instead of Bo admin, adding the group A and B ,groups should automatically get added to user id.

--- We use Windows AD authentication.will there be a list of users and groups?

--- yes
