Use BSP-App's in PFCG role menue

Hello,

we want to provide BSP's in the role menue wich can be maintained in the profile maintenance transaction PFCG. The transaction has the possibilty to enter BSP-specific entries but there's no documentation about the syntax.

The PFCG Development has no clue and said, that this functionality is used by the BSP-Framwork.

Does anybody know, how to maintain BSP-WebApp's in the Role Menue of the PFCG Transaction?

Hi,

in the meantime I was forwareded by a co-worker to the function module GENERATE_URL_BSP_LAUNCHPAD wich will be called when a BSP is entered in the role menue. But the question is still the same: wich syntay do I have to use to maintain a BSP-App in the PFCG role Menue.

You need to define a dummy placeholder transaction for the application; this transaction code is then built into the role for the user in PCFG.

Then in transaction CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C, go to "Application/layout" sub-menu, select "Application" button. Edit the entry for your BSP application and put the name of the transaction code defined above in the "Authorization transaction" field.
