Hello Stephon,

This should work. Can you provide some additional information will help us to further troubleshoot:

1) What is the URL that you are using inside the URL link button? (Is it an HTTP:// path or a path to a local document such as C:\ ?)

2) Are you linking to document, image, or website?

3) Does this work in preview mode?

4) Does anything happen after you click on the URL button? (error message, blank screen, picture of a broken link, etc.)

Thanks,

Hi John,

I've tried both. In preview mode http://www.yahoo.com works fine, but exported, nothing happens when i click the url button.

For reference to local path on company server such as
FilesrvXXX\Dept.XXX\FolderXXX\FileXXX, it doesn't recognize the path in preview mode, and nothing happens when exported.

The url works fine for me in 4.5, but not 2008. I make the url transparent and layer an image on top of it. I bring the url to the front.

Can't figure out this at all. Thanks for your help John.

Anyone else having an url issue to local directory or website after exporting? Thanks for any insight.

Hi

There are currently two bugs with the URL button. One, is no reaction when using FP10 and IE7. The second, it doesn't recognize network drives only local drives. The latter should be fixed in the upcoming FP2 end of January.
