Hi David,

it is easy if you use the application integrator.

<a href="http://help.sap.com/bp_epv260/EP_EN/documentation/How-to_Guides/25_HowToUseAppIntegrator_en.pdf">Application Integrator How To Guide</a><a href="http://help.sap.com/bp_epv260/EP_EN/documentation/How-to_Guides/25_HowToUseAppIntegrator_en.pdf">Application Integrator</a>

If you use <Request.Language> in URL template, you can integrate URLs with multi language support.

E.g. http://test.html?language=<Request.Language>;

Problem: What happens if the <Request.Language> is not available for the URL ?

Hi,

I am facing a similar problem. I found a link to integrate multilingual URLs <a href="http://http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/9e/7d9717087311d7b84600047582c9f7/frameset.htm">http://http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/9e/7d9717087311d7b84600047582c9f7/frameset.htm</a>

This talks about some 'Language-specific URLs mode' which I cannot find anywhere in the URL iView editor. I'm using 2004 version.

Hi ,

Portal perform's internationalization based on 5 level setting which is automatice . In case of URL iview if same google.com is applied with different language

IE -> tools -> internet option -> language -> chinese shows chinese google

Probably we cant do this. I dont know exactly. The reason is that, The option of personalization is always left to the user or assigned by administrator.

The possible solution is to create two different iViews in diffent languages and assing the correct iview to the role based on the user background.

Hope this helps,

Kumar.
