URL For J2SE Adapter Engine Configuration

Hi All,

I have to go for adapter configuration for that i need to go to Adapter Engine Configuration Screen. So can any one please tell me the URL for going to the particular screen.

Hi rahul,

I think URL for J2SE adapter engine is http://hostname:portname. Just check following link :

I tried that URL http://<portname>:8200 but it is not displaying the required page. So pl let me know what could be the problem

Hi Rahul,

Just check whether hostname is correct and its entry is made in the host file of u r local machine if u r trying from local system.

Yes i had entered the right host name as well as port no. but then also i am not able to see the page.

Rahul Hi,

As per your messages, it seems the J2SE Adapter Engine is not up and running. To do so, initiate run_adapter.bat on the server. Moreover the port, 8200 is not tightly coupled. So, confirm the port to access the J2SE Adapter Engine.

Hello Sreeni,

i had gone through all the configuration steps including running the run_adapter.bat file. and i had checked the port in that particular GuiBrowserEngine.properties. There the port is 8200.

Rahul,

In your case, the port would be the J2EE port and not ABAP port. So in most cases it should be 50000 (which is also the default entry). Try the link with this and should bring up the J2EE page from where you can navigate further.
