Urgent! SDM can't logon

Hello guys,

I started the SDM GUI with RemoteGui.sh , then I click the "connect" button , and enter the password "sap2cool".

It display that "ERROR: Could not establish connection to server XCPRD01 at port 50118: A remote host refused an attempted connect operation."

I am sure the password is correct, because I had updated the password with Visual admin,

also Security Store of configtool. And I had restart the server.

And the Systeminformation display that PID: (blank), SDM Port null.

I had check the property file of SDM , workingport is 50118 .

Is there any suggestions?

BR,

Jianguo Chen

Hi,

Admin and SDM password can be same or different. When you change password for admin and update in secure store, it holds for admin password. Yet SDM password remains as old password only. You have to change the SDM password using

Few things to check..

1) Check your database and listener is up and running

2) Make sure you are logged in as <SID>adm in to your server when starting SDM

Hope this helps.

hi,

Please check if your SAPMMC is running. I think you have to start SAPMMC first and let the server, dispatcher nodes all turn green(running) before you can login to SDM.
