Hi Dmitry,

This is due to authorization issue for Developer role in solman 7.1.

Try with admin user and recheck the transcation.

This issue will disappeared.

what is the status of your maintenance cycle: "created" or "in development.."?

Could you check it, please?

17. Error "No maintenance cycle is opened for the current system"

When creating a normal correction or urgent correction (or setting it from "Created" to "In development"), the customer receives error "No maintenance cycle is opened for current system." (SOCM_ACTION_LOG011).

Possible reasons are:

- The IBase is wrong: The IBase/component must represent the production system in the project landscape.

+IBase component is represent the production system (SW2)

- Lack of authorizations: Assign role "SAP_SOCM_ADMIN" or "SAP_CM_ADMINISTRATOR_COMP" (or equivalent) to the user who would like to approve the change request.

+ I have many roles and SAP_ALL

- Project is locked in table /TMWFLOW/PROJMAP: If an error is detected during the processing, then the project might be locked in this table. The customer can unlock it by pressing the refresh button under tab "System Landscape" -> "Change Requests". If there are other error messages shown during the refresh process, the customer must fix those errors beforehand.

+ Status of Project in table /TMWFLOW/PROJMAP is ACTIVE

P.S. The 'Check' button under tab 'Change Requests' (the same as transaction /TMWFLOW/CHARMCHK) will only do the checking. On the other hand, the 'Refresh' button will do the checking and update the relevant database entries.

+ I checked it. I Created the new Maintance project. The error remains.

Hi Dmitry,

did you check the status of your maintenance cycle? The maintenance cycle should be in phase 'in development'.

best regards

Hi,

When creating the Urgent Change Correction, make sure that in the 'IBase / Compnent' section you refer to the actual Production system, and not to your Development system.
Also make sure you have assigned auth object S_PROJ_GEN to the user.

1. IBase / Compnent = Product system

2. I have assigned auth object S_PROJ_GEN to the my user

Hi,

Pls check the Authorizations of the User which is closing the previous task list before opening a new one.

Second, go to the IMG project and check if CTS check box is ticked or not , if not correct that first.

It happens that when a user without authorizations closes off the maintenance cycle the IMG project goes off on CTS..

KK.

Hi,

Can you go to the tasklist in SMCA or SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN and unlock all the tasks linked to the cycle and try?

Thanks,

Jagadish.
