Upgrade to SP13

Hi guru's currently we are on EP7.0 SP11 and are planning to upgrade on SP13.

PLease suggest the path ahead in detail as how do i go ahead.

What are the required s/w please suggest the procees to deploy/install it.

HI thanx for the reply rahul,

my basis team has already messed up.

they deployed sp13 package form sdm then watever reaminig components which where not updated they deployed it one by one....

now after sucessfull deployement of the components we restarted the cluster.

as a result my theme have been rotten up the ess frame work in not inherinting the theme plus all the KM components are not displayed ....

overall the look n feel has messed up.

PLease suggest what can be done?

Jack,

Rule# 1 never use SDM to apply ur patches one by one...use JSPM...i know you can argue on that statement but it is still better to use JSPM...

now with your desktop giving some trouble check this link

Hi,

You can download the service pack from service.sap.com . The EP system can be upgarded using utility provided by SAP called as JSPM.

Make sure you take the backup of the database and the portal.
