Hello
We use Rev-Trac to import transports between our different systems. Rev-Trac, with its OOPS tool, allows us to check the consistency of data and objects. We recently encountered a problem with OOPS, which was due to a difference in package support levels.
In our ECC System, we have: 4 systems for DEV, QUAL, PreProd and Un prod.
D10, Q10, U10 and P10
In 2011: the two systems U10 and P10 have been upgraded from SAPKB70207 (Basis Support Package 07 for 7.02 Imported on 14.06.2011 )
to SAPKB70208 and then to
SAPKB73101 (SAP_BASIS 731: SP 0001 Imported on 16.10.2012 )
the two Dev and Quality systems did not upgrade to SAPKB70208, they have been upgraded directly from SAPKB70207 to SAPKB73101 without going through SAPKB70208 .
Can SAPKB70208 be upgraded?
Request clarification before answering.
Hello,
the warning generated by REV-TRAC tool seems not to be correct if both systems are already on higher release SAP_BASIS 731 and on the same SP level.
SAP_BASIS 731 initial delivery is equivalent with SAP_BASIS 702 SP8, meaning, all objects were delivered in 731 with the same development level as 702 SP8.
It seems the tool compares the installed SPs where the object was delivered and SP8 object list cannot be found on the target system as the object was delivered via export DVDs of release SAP_BASIS 731.
Please contact REV-TRAC and ask for a fix.
Best regards,
Laszlo
