upgrade NW 7.0 EHP1 to BW 7.3

Hi guys,

Does anyone knows if I can upgrade directly my NW 7.0 EHP1 to BW 7.3? Or do I need to be on latest EHP?

Hi Santy,

I went briefly through document:

Upgrade Master Guide SAP NetWeaver® 7.3

and it doesn't seem to me that it should be an requirement to have the latests EhP in place before upgrade to BW 7.3.

Hi Santiago,

I am not sure about Basis side of it, but don't go for latest EHP, always be one step behind, because there can be some unseen issues can face on latest EHP. Also please check the compatibility with Basis/SAP for a other interfaces if any like EP, PI. Otherwise you need to upgrade those also based on SAP's suggestion/Compatibility.
