Hello,
the guys who are responsible for our ERP backend-system want to move
ahead with the latest Enhancement Packages and patches. I am not sure
if we would run into problems on our BW system 7.0 without EHP1.
Please let me know if EHP4 on ERP6 is supported with BW 7.0 or
if there are any known problems/solutions.
Best Regards
Martin Schmitt

Hi,
ECC6 EHP4 is absolutely compatible with BW 7.0 without EHP1. You shouldn't get any problems in that scenario.
You should however check that if you want to activate additional business content, you have the content required for the source system available.
Also EHP1 of BW 7.0 is great - woudln't be a bad thing to patch that too.
Regards,
John

Hello Anand Kumar,
thank you for the information. But i think you got me wrong. I don't need information für BW 7.0 EHP1. I need to know if there are any dependencies for BW 7.0 if we upgrated to EHP4 on source system which is a R/3 - ECC 6.0.
For example we have to import at least SP19 for our SAP NW ECO 5.0 System when we Upgrade on R/3 to EHP4. So now i want to know if we also have to upgrade our BW 7.0 System. Are there any known problems...
Best Regards

Hello,
The feature is available with EHP1 for 7.0 (i.e. with release 7.01), SP05, cf. note 1358614 and note 1236347 (attached document) for more details.
check the following SDN link:
You can also find more detailed information in the service marketplace: Downloads -> Search for Installation and
Upgrades. Search for: NetWeaver EHP1.
With regards,
Anand Kumar
