Update the version of database ASA 9.0.2.3951 for which another version? Currently the database files are about 5GBytes. My ERP has on average 30 to 50 client connections (two layers), dedicated server, Win Server OS. I use the connection via BDE / ODBC driver. The web is used only for connections via TS. The database structure has ~ 900 tables, users do several queries / insert / update / delete in different tables.

Sorry, I do not understand what you are asking for?

V9 is long EOL'ed, so is v10, so you can migrate to v 11.0.1 or 12.0.1 - if that is what you are interested in...

Hi @Volver Barth, basically it, I want to migrate a version 12.0.1 or could go directly to the ASE version 15.7?

No: ASE has nothing in common with ASA. Don't be confused by the similar name. ASE is NOT a big brother of ASA. Just migrate to 12.0.1 and you are fine.

Is there any possibility to migrate from Sql Anywhere 9, 11, 12 to ASE 15 (e.g. by unload/reload) ?

I found the document "Migrating SQL Anywhere database applications to ASE"[1] made by gurus Glenn Paulley, Mark Culp and Karim Khamis. 🙂

Note the audience for this document is stated as (quoted from page 2):

Interested readers of this document are likely to be in one of two situations. Either you have an existing SQL Anywhere application that you want to migrate to ASE, or you are considering building an SQL Anywhere application and want to maximize its portability to ASE.

So if you want to migrate to ASE then this document may be of use to you, but readers should be careful to not misconstrue the existence of the document to mean that you need to move to ASE.
