Update Rules

HI

I have added 4 new feilds in ODS and now the update rules have been deactivated.

i have reactivated the rules but still the new feilds are in grey colour.

How to set the new fields to green from grey.

is there any other way other than deleting and recreating the update rules.

please give me your advices on this

click on the details button in update rules, and assign the infoobjects (or formula/constant/routine) to new fields.

HI when i am doing that i am getting 3 options

Addition

overwrite

No update

And how should i load the data into this new fields

should i delete all data which was there before in ods.

which one should i select can you please explain me a bit about this.

if u r using overwrite option, u don't have to delete any data. It will overwrite the older data with new data if its already their.

How about the load should i delete the previous one and reload again

since u r using ODS, u don't have to delete data. It will add the new records, and will overwrite the data which is already in ODS.
