Universe Built on a MultiProvider

Hi,

We built a Universe based on a BEX Query that is developed against a MultiProvider.

Our MultiProvider have 3 cubes. 1 Each for Year 2008, 2009 & 2010.

Now in the Univeser we have Dimension INFOPROVIDER.

When we built a WEBI report, we are adding this INFOPROVIDER to the Filter Conditions section of WEBI report and setting it to Cube that holds 2010 data.

But when we execute the WEBI, we noticed the SQL in SM51 transaction code is querying data in all 3 cubes .

Any thoughts why is the WEBI is accessing all 3 cubes instead of Just 1 even though we restricted the WEBI on INFOPROVIDER value?.

Thanks in advance.

HI,

How can i check if the filter is passed to the universe. I checked the MDX query and able to see in the MDX query that the filter (INFOPROVIDER) is being passed. But when i check SM51 on BW side, all my cubes are being accessed.

Thanks.

Hi,

It sounds like the generated MDX does not generate the appropriate SQL.

See if there is not an SAP Note related to this behavior.

Check if the filter has been trasferred to the universe, if not build it directly there
