Uninstall IGS 6.40 : UNIX?????

During our initial install of IGS 6.40 on UNIX, we filled up a file system. We've since added plenty of space, and would like to reinstall the IGS, but I can't find any information on uninstalling the IGS for UNIX. There is plenty of documentation for Windows, but a UNIX uninstall seems to be missing. Can anyone tell me where I can find this documentation, or if the uninstall for UNIX is simply a matter of deleting all pertinent directories? Thanks for your help.

Removal of IGS is simpler in UNIX. Just remove the entry from the startsap and stopsap scripts and remove the IGS files from the UNIX directory.

Check the note below:

Title :Remove the WebAS based IGS from a Unix based installation

You have a WebAS based IGS installed on Unix and want to disable or remove it.

Other terms

IGS Unix WebAS remove

Reason and Prerequisites

You want to use either no IGS or the standalone Version of the IGS.

In the startsap/stopsap scripts search for the startigs/stopigs entries and comment them out. You may then remove the IGS files from your Harddisk or leave them where they are.
