Hi expert,
I have a bar chart in WEBI report, but distance between bars are not consistent, can you please tell how to adjust it?
Many Thanks,
Yes, that's a very good point that Divya and Arijit has brought up regarding inconsistent graph. Like I said there is no reason where you will get inconsistent spaces between to categories unless there is an exception and in this case the missing values could be the reason for this.
So as Divya suggested please create a table for this and see which categories are missing from the graph also you can try and eliminate the Categories that have missing measure values this will create the graph with consistent spaces between lines as shown in snap shot below by unchecking the highlighted item.

Hi,
I do not see any reason that it should have inconsistent spaces between different categories unless there is an exception.
Could you please bring Community and Average Price 2016/4 in the report as table and try turning that into a Bar chart with Assign Data as shown in attached screen shot.
Let me know if this helps.

Niraj
Hi,
Please convert your chart to table and see the data. If you observe you dont have values for all measures for all Municipalities. whenever there is null it is not showing the corresponding bar.
Because of this missing bars it is looking inconsistent difference bars.
Take some sample scenario /data in which you have values for the measures for all the municipalities then you can find the reason.
Clearly from your screenshot, you do not have data for all municipalities under each community. So, the uneven gap between bars is appearing as expected.
As you have data for one municipality only for each community, you can convert the bar chart to a stacked bar chart if you want to avoid the uneven gap between bars.
