Unable to start TREX 7.10 after update to revision 81

Hello

I updated trex 7.10 revision 79 to revision 81 with the following script:

install.cmd --action=update --sid=XXX --password=XXXXXXX --type=DEFAULT

The process ended with a "success" but the trex instance is unable to start, it gets stopped after the sapcpe, exactly when TREXDaemon.exe is starting.

I can´t find any log that helps me.

We are using Windows 2012 R2 and other trex service on Windows 2016, the issue is happening in both.

Hi Marco,

Are you still facing any issues with TREX?

At present revision 82 is the latest: 1856942 - Latest Revision for TREX 7.10
So you could try with that one instead.

A good place to start looking for errors is the trace folder:
<drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\TRX<inst_number>\<hostname>\trace

In Services.msc, ensure that the TREX service (named SAP<SID>_<inst_number> is running.

And always make sure you have the OS packages listed here:
