Unable to register LCRSAPRFC_SID

Former Member

Hi,

I have installed PI 7.31, finished the basic configuration steps. Added ECC and TM systems as business systems in Central SLD which is on PI.

In the ESR of PI, we have imported ESR Content of Transportation management for all the necessary service types, data types.

But when we go to the transaction SPROXY in ECC, we do not see the SWCV which we have created in the Central ESR.

After long troubleshooting we found that LCRSAPRFC RFC destination is responsible for bringing the data from the SLD and post it in SPROXY.

This RFC Destination is not getting registered in PI. Below are the RFC Details. Can anyone help in finding the solution for this.

Example SID:

Process Integration: P73

ECC: EH6

LCRSAPRFC Destination Details:

Program id: LCRSAPRFC_EH6

JCO RFC Destination Details from PI Java.

Program ID: LCRSAPRFC_EH6 and its status is Stopped. This program id never starts even after multiple trials.

Thanks,

Mahesh.

Hi Mahesh,

Create RFC destination (TCP/IP) LCRSAPRFC for the SLD connection.

Use TCode SM59 to create RFC Destination in ECC

RFC Destination in ECC : LCRSAPRFC

Connection Type: T

Description: <your description><in our case LCRSAPRFC>

Technical Setting:Under the Technical settings tab page, select radio button Registered server Program

and In the Program ID field under Registered Server Program, enter LCRSAPRFC_PID.

This program ID (LCRSAPRFC_PID)  must correspond to the ID specified in the RFC engine settings on the Integration Server host.

Also check the NWA for similar settings.

In the NWA , go to the Jco Rfc destination and restart the LCRSAPRFC destination...
