Hi There,
Recently the existing PI server was switched over with a newer PI server .
We have an existing working web-service proxy setup between ECC & PI(in the sense that XML's are getting exchanged in all of development to production system between new PI & ECC ) .
Only issue is team received a request of adding new fields in the structure of existing namespace , PI had done modification to the structures but when ECC try's to regenerate the service it ends with error "requested repository is down".
******************************************************
Below mentioned all the diagnostic action taken .
*****************************************************
Sproxy - Error when trying to regenerate
Report - SPROX_CHECK_IFR_ADDRESS
Report - SPROX_CHECK_IFR_CONNECTION
But SLD Connection test works
************************************************
Below sharing the RFC & SXMB Settings
************************************************
There are 2 valid RFC of Type G in the system
RFC 1
Default ESR
SXMB_ADM
Summary : Rephrasing the issue , when PI server is switched is there any extra step that needs to be performed in contrast to when doing a new setup as all setting/parameter seems to be in place .
We logged into new PI Host server manually via browser & were able to view repository .
Hey All,
Got it working. Re-maintained the RFC details for SAP_PROXY_ESR & RFC1 using same set of credentials .
