Unable to login into SDM

Hi,

i am unable to login into SDM when i clicked RemoteGui.bat files. it says like

cannnot log in. there are already active sessions: Session id 2 logged in via GUI/

so how can we over come from this problem. i.e. whether i need to restart the server or is there any other mechanism for this one

Hi Maha,

This could happen when someone (developer) is trying to deploy something via SDM when you tried to login. Check if anyone had been deploying and try again after sometime.

SDM doesnt allow more than one deployment at the sametime.

right now i am the lone person who is using using SDM. but it gave the same error msg again.

i think i have to restart the server.

Hi,

That is not possible. As mentioned, only if there is more than one active session, then this error would come. This is possible if someone else is using SDM console or anyone is deploying webdynpro or j2ee applications. If you are sure noone else is using, your deployment should work. If not, you can change SDM password (if you feel it is security issue).

Why dont you try that with the SDM only and not restarting the whole server.
