Unable to instantiate SapJCO

Hello

We are trying to use the SapJCO connector in two applications that we

have already installed on a WebSphere AppServer.

The problem is that the last application that is trying to instantiate

the class, throws an error saying " No

ClassDefFound: /com/sap/JCO$Exception".

We were reading on the web and we think that its possible that the

Sapjco connector could not be loaded by more than one application in a

Java Virtual Machine ( because of the use of static classes).

Is this so?

Thanks in advance,

JCO applications can be loaded by many applications. Its not a problem, where did you copy the required Jar files in the server? Are you sure your application web module or enterprise module's lib folder is having the requried JCO files?

I am not sure about WebSphere admin, but check the option where you can place the jar file so that it will be available for all applications.
