We are getting blank Organization and Space while navigating from BTP Mobile Services (Navigating by clicking on the Support button). We are unable to navigate to Mobile Services because of the blank Organization and Space.

Was it working before?

Is it a newly created account?

Can you share if your BTP trial account has been created in an extended landscape? In your BTP cockpit, you'll find below API endpoint. In my case, it has suffix -001 to us10

Hi Jitendra,

It's a newly created BTP trial account. Please check the below screenshot.

Since your subaccount has been created in an extended landscape (that suffix -001), you can't access mobile services cockpit from that Spport button (via service marketplace > mobile services).

Do the following -

  • Navigate to the Services> "Instance and Subscriptions"
  • create a mobile-services instance
  • click on the newly created mobile services instance, it should then open mobile services cockpit in a new page

P.S. we are working on updating this info in our documentation.

Hi Jitendra,

Thank you for your prompt response!

We have created an instance of Mobile Services. With the "View Dashboard" option, we get an authentication error when we authenticate with the "Sign in with default identity provider" option and, it starts working after resetting the password. We have tested this with multiple users.

Hi @Jitendra Kansal - I had the same issue with the blank organization and space. My API endpoint is

https://api.cf.us10-001.hana.ondemand.com

So I tried the steps you mentioned:

  • Navigate to the Services> "Instance and Subscriptions"
  • create a mobile-services instance
  • click on the newly created mobile services instance, it should then open mobile services cockpit in a new page

But when I click on the instance, I get a 404 error followed by the error message "XCSRF Token is not available, further create, update, delete operation will fail.". The URL it is trying to go to is has the organization and space:

https://mobile-service-cockpit-web.cfapps.us10.hana.ondemand.com/cockpit/v1/org/9990c891-05c7-42bb-b...

How should I proceed?

Thanks,

Jay

Make sure that you have "Space developer" role assigned to your user. Navigate to BTP cockpit > subaccount> space > Members

P.S. Your issue is different than what author originally posted, it should be posted as a new question.

Hi Jitendra,

I have the space developer but still the same issue. I will post another question - but it seems its the same issue though.

Thanks,

Jay

Hi jitendrakumar.kansal ,

The issue was due to some issues with cookies for the SAP IDP. I have several accounts on BTP and I think the wrong cookie was being used for the authentication. Even when I logged out and logged in with the correct user/password, it did not work. But I deleted all the cookies on my Chrome browser and restarted Chrome, then it worked flawlessly and I was able to build my iOS apps using the SAP iOS SDK.

I think anyone who has multiple SAP user ids may run into this issue it seems.

Thanks,

Jay

Hi Jitendra,

I am facing the same issue. I followed the steps you have mentioned but I got the same error ' a 404 error followed by the error message "XCSRF Token is not available'. Also, clearing the Chrome browser cookies did not help. Could you please suggest how I can access SAP Mobile services on BTP.

Thanks & Regards,

Joydeep Sarkar.

Hi, I just tried this after finding this blog, but got the following error after accessing the mobile service cockpit.

I'm guessing this is no longer supported on the BTP trial.

Thanks,

Katan
