Hi all,

When I am calling a R3 Function from WD Java I get the error:

com.sap.dictionary.runtime.DdException: Type com.seidor.faffe.types.Znif does not exist

By the way ZNIF was defined & activated at SE11. I have restarted the J2EE but doesn't works. Any idea?

The error is this:

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.TypeNotFoundException: type com.seidor.faffe.types.Znif could not be loaded: com.sap.dictionary.runtime.DdException: Type com.seidor.faffe.types.Znif does not exist

First, try an restart, if not work... check the connection to the backend. The user system of JCO in question may be in trouble. And if a new model to JCO was never able to cache the structures of BAPIs and for this reason the error is TypeNotFound.

Hi,

1) Try to reimport the model and see if the field is added

2) Make sure that your JCO is connected to the correct backend server.

The field is added in a dictionary as a Type of the model imported. And It's connect to the correct backend

Hi Xavier,

Which NW version & patch u r using?? If u r using J2EE Engine 6.40 SP19 release or J2EE Engine 7.00 SPS10 and SPS11 release , remove ur code where u r calling the Bapi and try running ur application. If still u get same error , check SAP Note - 1025462.
