Tx. "solman_directory" IE-Error "Could not initialize"

Hi!

I have still the problem to initialize the grafical elemenents in the trasaction code "solman_directory". I have implemented the SAP-Note 884832 and activated the SICF-services as well as created the external alias 'default user' and set it to the SOLARSERVICE-user

But the problem still is I am getting the <b>IE-error "could not initialize"</b>.

<b>Can someone help by solving this issue?</b>

Hi Axel,

does the display work properly in DSWP ?

If not, try this (I thin 884832 is the wrong note no.) :

SICF -> F8 -> External Aliases (blue arrow) -> default_host -> sap/bc/solman/defaultuser -> Logon Data -> Password (must be the same like the one of the user in SU01

The problem is solved.

The solution is (at least in my case):

add the site (full server name) into the security --> trusting sites in Internet Explorer.

The external alias issue seems not work, at least if I save the this servie I am getting the error "the service could not start...".

I have choosen the http SERVICE-user (SOLARSERVICE) for this issue

But as I mentioned: the Microsoft Internet Explorer settings should be adjusted
