Can anyone tell me what error code 6800 during preprocessing stage means?
Is there a list of error codes and what they mean?
Any ideas on how I resolve this error?
Im trying to index the contents of a web repository manager that contains a single (intranet) website, which has been created ok and appears in the KM filesystem.
Cheers,
Steve
Hi Steve,
the answer depends on which TREX version do you use.
There are three SAP Notes on preprocessor errorcodes:
for 6.0 it is 649574
for 6.1 it is 898404
for 7.0 it is 879305
Could you please send a snippet from the knowledgemanagement.log about the error?
Regards,
Miklos

Karsten,
Miklos' reply was helpfull but essentially the note just says the error is a preprocessing error, which I already know. It doesnt offer any help in solving the problem.
I also dont have a knowledgemanagement.log. Is there one for EP6 running on SP14? Are there any other logs I can look at?
Cheers,
Steve
Hi Steve,
we are running our EP60 on Solaris, and our knowledgemanagement.log is in /usr/sap/<portalname>/j2ee/j2ee_00/cluster/server/managers/log/portal/logs.
Perhaps your crawler log level is off. You can modify the level of logging under:
Configuration > Content Management > Global Services >
Crawler Parameters
I suggest you set the parameter Max. Log Level to error.
Another tip can be: Systemadministrtion > Systemconfiguration > KM > Index-administration iView, and application protocol.
Hope this helps.
Miklos
