Dear Dimitry
I try to ping like you said.
http://<hostname>:30205/TREXHttpServer/TREXISAPIExt.dll?CMD=PING
And the Following message appears:

Open IIS Help, which is accessible in IIS Manager (inetmgr), and search for topics titled Using Virtual Directories, Changing Default Web Site Settings, and About Custom Error Messages.
I have one more Question, where can i see the nameserver port?

Hi Pedro,
the port number can be found in the TREXNameServer.ini file, which in turn is located in the $roor/usr/sap/trex_48 directory. In the same directory you can find the file TREXWebServer.ini which has the port number of the trex web server (use it with you ping test)
The the error message is indicating that you did not in endow the TREX user with sufficient privileges. See for
more details.
regards & bon fin de semaine...

Hello Dimitry
I'm using the NW04 SP10 Portal. The Link is this
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a1/93de005bec214c8af54844721ef224/frameset.htm - Virtual Romms->Configuration of Search Functions for Rooms->Configuration of the Search for Content in Rooms
I'm Creating a New Search Content Room, and then discover that some Think is missing, because the Following error message appears:
Index could not be created; creating index failed: There are no active http servers known at the nameserver. (Errorcode 7218)
Then i go to the TREX Monitor and Discover that at Last one service as a RED SIGN.

Hi Pedro,
I think your problem is that TREX's nameserver is not configured. Search for nameserver.address @SDN and look in your installation instructions on how to enter the corresponding value using the notorious visual administrator. It should be something like
tcpip://<trex-machine>:30201

Dimitry

Dear Dimitry
I'm Monitoring the Trex Service. In the Portal System Administratio->Monitoring-> Knowledge Management -> TREX Monitor
I have one Red Sign, in for this Line http://my_server.my_domain:30205/TREXHttpServer/TREXISAPIExt.dll -> Not Available.
I look at the Installation Guide and it says that it is necessary to change the file topology.ini. I have done the following Steps:
1 - Stop the TREX service
2 - Change the topology.ini
3 - Start the Service
4 - Enter in the Portal and see the Trex Monitor
And the change that i made don't appears.
Best Regards
Pedro Miguel Rodrigues
