This is the sequence:

1. Data targets along with the info objects.

2. Info source ( if any) / update rules ( if any), transformations ( if any).

3. Info packages / DTPs.

4. Reports, workbooks, roles, web templates.

5. IP objects.

No Change in Transport, but there issues while transporting all new TRFN and DTP objects as some these objects get de-activated while transport. Try to search some OSS notes which are released recently to tackle these issues.

Thanks,

No change in transport. However, there are are new object that you can transport from transport connection like the planing objects defined in integrated planning.

Dear Friends,

points awarded.

Being new to BI 7 , I also need to tranport IP .

A.

Now that there is Java stack, what are the <b>new types of objects</b> to transport pertaining to Java stack when migrating development objects to another system?

B.

Care to share your best practice in terms of transporting web or <b>java</b> related stuff, if any needs to be transported? Or there is no java stuff to transport other than the usual bw transports and new things like DTP ?

C.

How should <b>DTP</b> be transported?

D.

How would you suggest that I <b>group</b> objects for transport in BI 7?

All categories in 1 transport request or split them into subgroupings by area for same objects?

E.

How would you transport global <b>settings</b> or there is no need to using different replication method?

F.

Pre-requisites for successful transport.

Thanks in advance!!!

regards

Sanjay
