Transportable object RSPC ZCHAIN needs local object RSPV INDEX ZCUBE_INDEX

Hi All,

I am transporting the Process chain along with variants. While releasing, I'm getting the error message as Transportable object RSPC ZCHAIN needs local object RSPV INDEX ZCUBE_INDEX. I have collected all the dependent objects but still I'm getting this error.

Hi Karan,

As my guess mentioned object might be saved to $tmp, so you need to save objects into custom package and later try to release the transport.

Go to RSA1-->transport connection,

Collect your chain and drag into right side pane,

After that you can select all dependences.

Later you can see any object was saved into $TMP then you need to save that object into custom package.

Thanks

Hi Karan,

It seems that you have saved the object ZCUBE_INDEX as local object.

Object in menu tab :

GOTO --> OBJECT DIRECTORY ENTRY

Change the package ($TMP) anD assign to a transport request.

that means your ZCUBE_INDEX process variant is still known as a "local" object (package $TMP)

change it's package and you'll be fine

you can do so via the Transport Connection > Object Types > Processes > Process Variants > Select Objects

select your object (ZCUBE_INDEX)

and transfer it

now you can either just change the package or assign it to the same transport request (then the first thing the system will ask you to do is change the package anyways)
