Transport Queries Questions

Hi Guys,

I short question. I have installed from the business content queries, query view and web templates. My question is How can I create a transport including them all together?

Can you please provide me a step by step solutions.

Hi Ivan,

The commonly followed way to transport the Bex objects is by assigning them to the development class / package. We ususally have one package for the BEx objects per InfoProvider. Steps you would need to do:

1. Create the Dev packages for the InfoProvider if it is not alreday created. You can do this in SE80.

2. Assign a transport request to this class: RSA1 > Transport Connection > BEx Transport button.

3. Collect your queries, views and web templates.

4. Assign them the correct dev package and also the transport request number.

Hi Bhanu,

Just to make sure about the process.....

1) Press the button BEx Transport and then assign a package for instance ZPC.

2) Collect the queries, etc.... At this point the package for every query is $TMP. Do I need to change them to the nw one (ZPC). When I change the system ask for a transport request and then I create one.

That is correct?
