Transport Extract Structure

Hi,

I have installed the datasource 0EMPLOYEE_TEXT in R/3. Now I want to transport the datasource and the extract structure to Test system. I could manage to put the datasource into a transport by choosing the Object Directory. But I am not able to do the same with the extract structure. I could open the Object Directory Entry screen but not able to put it into a transport request. The package for the extract structure is a standard one.

Can somebody help me in putting it in a request?

Thanks

Use tcode RSA6. Find and highlight your datasource and click the "truck" at the top. This will transport your datasource which will include your extract structure.

I have tried the option of clicking the truck icon to transport. But it only puts the datasource and not the extract structure.

And neither am I able to change the package in the extract structure screen as it is a standard datasource and the package is also a standard one. The system is not allowing me to change the package.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks,

I have solved the problem. For standard datasources, the extract structure need not be transported. The extract structure would be available in active status in the target system and hence it need not be transported

Check if the Extract structure is in a Transport Request already if not the problem is package you selected....every package have in its internla configuration a path for transporting.....in other words every package have a source system (DEV) and a destination system (QAS) if not you cant create ordrer for this package....try to change package for this object and put the same package of the Datsaource.....in "Transport System", select extract structure and "Change Package"...
