Transport Error RSAR 440-Transfer Structure on BW3.5 Ptch 10

Hi,

We are transporting transfer rules and structures on BW 3.5 Patch 10.

Error occurs in module RS_ISTS_AFTER_IMPORT.

Records are created in table RSTS with objvers ="T".

Looked on OSS and nothing there.Any else found this problem on Patch 10 ?

Hi Tony,

Mostly the AFTER IMPORT programs generated $tmp objects or activates the transported objects. I guess u see ur transfer structure in the Target System but Inactive. Check for the detailed error msg in the Transport Log. You might be missing something.

SAP answered our OSS-message:

Please run the report RSDG_AFTER_IMPORT_FOR_CORR in the target system

and re-import the transport.

The report is valid for all BW versions and support packages.

You will not need to run this report everytime. Its useful for these

types of errors/inconsistencies (RSAR 440) where maybe the sequence

of transports could have been wrong or the system mis-interprets that

a structure doesn't exist. The note #411574 explains a little more

about it.
