Transactional ODS

Can somebody provide me with some handy documents for transactional ODS where we use it, main difference between traditional ODS & transaction ODS...

Any help is most valued & will be rewarded.

You can load data to it a lot faster - only inserts, it has no update (overlay) capability. It's faster because you load directly to the ODS without any activation necessary, rather than to a staging table followed by an activation step. Ther is also no change log table created, so you can see that without all the extra staging, activation, change log processing, why it loads faster.

Which means that you cannot have delta functionality out of Transactional ODS directly to the cube. You might basically think of Trans. ODS as of Flat Table provided by BW, where you can read and write using Trans.ODS API.
