I have been told that I can kill a job that started an InfoPackage to run immediately from SM37. It asks for a job number where can I find that for the InfoPackage that I started.

Thanks

Hi,

in the menu select cancel.. same as stopping the job.. if still the jobdoesnt get cancelled, findout the workprocess number in Job details button -> WP number/PID and copy that and goto sm50 and serach this work process and select and cancel without core.. so this 2 or 3 times if it doesnt stop for once.. The job will be cancelled

Hi Sriram,

There is not a red button option, we are in Version 3.5. There is only an icon to execute F8 or from the menu you can cancel F3. Any thoughts. Thanks

Hi Niten,

Sometimes the job still keeps running even after you cancel the job in SM50.

In such cases , we had the basis guys kill the job ..

You could try doing the same..

In SM50 , if the job is running in your name , then just go and click on Cancel with Core from the menu , other look for the specific job name.

Hi Sriram,

From the Job overview I selected the OLTP job number and copied it to BW job number screen (SM37) and ran. The process still seems to be running? Have I missed any steps? Thanks
